n untrained eye may mistake this model for a regular S3, but it is in fact a mule for the 2014 Audi RS3. It was caught by our spies who initially identified the model not by its look, but by the symphony coming from under the hood.

The engine bay in question is housing the 2.5 liter five-cylinder turbo engine that already powers the previous generation RS3 as well as the TT RS and TT RS plus. The version within the new RS3 is expected to have a power output close to the latter of these with about 360 ponies put down to the wheels.

Beginning in Spring 2014, the Audi RS3 will be launched in both three-door hatchback and five-door sportback body styles.
