Debuts in September at Frankfurt Motor Show

A 2014 Audi A8 facelift has been spied once again before its possible official debut scheduled for September at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany.

This camouflaged prototype was seen testing near the Nürburgring trying to hide its tweaked front grille and revised front/rear bumpers. It will also come with updated exhaust finishers and matrix LED headlights that have 25 individual diodes and operate primarily in high-beam mode. These automatically dip the necessary areas when oncoming traffic is detected by camera.

The facelift should also bring a slightly revised infotainment system and new alloy wheel choices, while engine lineup will probably be carried over from the current model.

Audi has already confirmed the A8 facelift will go on sale before the end of the year.
