Audi has disclosed UK pricing information for the 2014 A3 Cabriolet which will arrive at customers starting next April.

The 2014 Audi A3 Cabriolet made its debuts back in September at IAA in Frankfurt and entered production a month later in Hungary. UK buyers will have to wait until April to get their soft top A3 which carries a starting price of 25,790 GBP for the SE version equipped with a 1.4-liter TFSI engine producing 140 HP (103 kW) and benefiting from cylinder-on-demand technology.

Audi is offering a 2.0-liter TDI engine with 150 HP (110 kW) from 27,240 GBP in the SE version, along with a more powerful 1.8-liter TFSI rated at 180 HP (132 kW) which kicks off at 30,270 GBP in the Sport trim.

The soft top can be raised or lowered in less than 18 seconds at speeds of up to 31 mph (50 km/h) and when it's folded the cargo capacity stands at 275 liters. Optionally available for the SE model and standard equipment for Sport and S trims is a more sound-absorbent acoustic soft top featuring three-layer padding.
